When you've got something on your head and ears for long periods of time you want to make sure they're not a pain to wear. The earcups come with plush memory foam, so they're not gonna become uncomfortable after long usage. You can also quickly switch between a single and dual ear design so you can stay alert on the road, or rock out when you're not driving. If you favor one ear over the other the adjustable boom mic can face either direction so you could have it on the your left side or right side. Lift the mic up away from your mouth and the microphone is muted. The active noise cancellation feature helps block out unwanted noise from the road or truck and can easily be turned on or off with a dedicated button on the earpiece.
Use the Garmin app for even more functionality and if you own a Garmin dezl OTR GPS you can integrate that so you hear you can hear you directions over the same headset.
